Made by World Music in the ROK, IIRC.

The PRS SE line is perhaps the best value (good materials and parts, amazing build quality, playability, and great tone for the dollar) of any guitar line.

But seriously. I’m out of room. No more guitars no matter what.

If you're trying to talk yourself out of getting one, I think you're failing miserably.

I wonder if I could mod one to make it a 22.

You could, but then you'd have to move the pickup--which is the whole reason for only 22 frets.

That neck pickup position is the sweet spot.

BTW, I found out that the $829 is a MAP price. Should be able to find one for around $750, 10% less than the MAP.

That is the whole reason I don’t care for 24 fret guitars a whole lot.

Eric, I'd rather have your Ibanez without the whammy bar.

I bought that off the used wall at GC a few years ago for little $. It had a set of EMG Hetfields in it. It now sports a pair of Parson Streets from StewMac. It is a great guitar. One of my favorites.

I'm not a big 24 fret fan, but since I have the 22 fret thing covered with 3 other HxH guitars, a(nother) 24 fretter is something a little different, therefore desirable. If the trem is up to USA PRS standards, that's a good thing, too.

I also really like that washed out Trampas Green (whatever "Trampas" means). And I don't mind the pickups on this one - not a fan of zebras, either, but on this one, it's black coils and crème rings, which I've had on other guitars.

It will have to fit into my budget down the road... I just hope PRS doesn't stop making these in 6-12 months--which they do all the time with their USA lefties; sometimes you can get one, sometimes you can't.

And you're right, Leftee - the price for that USA Santana lefty is ridiculous. It will sit there for a long time.

I love the Whale Blue finish, but I need a PRS like I need a hole in the head!

True... but isn't it kinda fun to have something new to talk about around here?

too many guitars and not enough hands

Have guitar manufacturers seen the light?

all these lefty offerings............

They must of realized there's an untapped market out there of left handed guitarist screaming for guitars that are not black, white or plain sunburst.

Even Gibson has come to the table lately.

Back to the guitar would like to play one before i bite the bullet but hey a lefty PRS that doesn't cost two or three months salary.

Many lefties learned how to play RH because of the lack of available lefties. With more LH guitars being available, fewer lefties are inclined to convert to the dark side.
