There's planty of info on GoobToob about it.

Plus points for spooky music in the intro of any UFO video--because that means it's true.

Take a bundle of sticks, some scotch tape with Christmasy symbols, toss in a bit of rubber balloon envelope, stir frantically and then bake for about 30 years, occasionally sprinkling conspiracy berries on the crust.

We're going to find out that Lee Harvey Oswald was piloting the UFO that crashed in Roswell. He was sent here from the Moon which is actually an alien spaceship that has been monitoring the earth since 317 A.D.

His mission was to neutralize JFK because they could see into the future and they knew JFK was going to send men to the moon. From their years of watching us they knew that earthlings are terrible litterbugs.

The CIA held Oswald after the crash and nursed him back to health, but kept him in custody at Area 51. In August of 1963, with the help of LBJ, Oswald was able to escape and after a few months spent practicing with his Mannlicher-Carcano, he was able to complete his mission.

The CIA has to concoct the story of Oswald's trips to Russia and Cuba to cover up the fact that they let him escape.

Oswald sounds similar to Roswell -- coincidence? Ancient astronaut theorists say no.

Who the F knows if they are real or not? Perhaps they are us from a far distant and evolved future. Perhaps the "abductions" as they were, are efforts to get stem cells from us to cure a distant malady we are suffering then??

The USAF failed miserably when it lamely tried to "explain" Roswell with a badly flawed release of files in 1994. It was so laughably deficient that they had to try again in 1997. That was a failure, too.

A far better understanding of the crash/retrieval in New Mexico in July, 1947 can come from qualified researchers like nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman, (who was at the University of Chicago at the same time classmate Carl Sagan was) and who have actually spent years examining documents and files at the National Archives and other places and have personally interviewed dozens of incident eyewitnesses and witnesses of other key Roswell events.

Two very good books by him are "Crash at Corona" and "Top Secret/Majic". Both are older books now, but still give a good understanding of events surrounding the remarkable incidents of July, 1947.

Chris, one of my young nieces asked for a basic summary of what many investigators have uncovered over the years and generally what they feel is likely to have happened, so I'll put essentially that here. This goes over the state of things a few years back, as far is known.

>>>>>>>>> "During June and July 1947, many people around the U.S., and particularly in the southwestern states like New Mexico, reported seeing remarkable and unusual flying objects that could be described as "flying saucers". They looked like no typical airplanes from any country on earth and they were capable of incredible speeds, sometimes without any noise or evidence of a normal airplane engine or jet.

During a thunderstorm on a night during the first days of July, 1947, a sheep rancher near the town of Roswell, New Mexico named Jack "Mac" Brazel heard a curious and quite loud sound that was very different than normal thunder and the next day, while out on horseback on his ranch, he saw a huge area containing extremely strange looking wreckage.

The wreckage consisted of shiny metallic pieces, as thin as paper, but incredibly tough which could not be torn or bent. There were also mysterious, thin metallic-looking i-beams that had a number of purplish symbols on it that somewhat resembled ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. These pieces were also incredibly strong and could not be bent or burned with a match. Hearing the news reports about flying saucers and thinking this strange wreckage may be of interest to the Air Force, Mac Brazel took a small bit of it into town and showed the Sheriff, who called the nearby air base. Brazell gave an interview at the local newspaper describing the remarkable situation.

The nearby Roswell Army Air Base sent out two men to the Sheriff's office who realized how unusual this bizarre material was and they asked to be taken to the crash site. Brazel did this and the two Air Force men spent a long time collecting just a small amount of the extraordinary items and then, using two cars, took it back to the air base. One of the men, Major Jesse Marcel, stopped at his home in town first and woke up his wife and son to show them this astonishing find. It clearly looked like something from another world. His son still remembers to this day the pieces of a craft from outer space his dad showed him that night. Soon, the air base sent out large groups of soldiers and airmen to seal off the area and try and collect every bit of the crashed machine. At the same time, the Air Force base announced to the world that they had captured one of the mysterious"flying discs" and were sending it to higher headquarters. Several other people saw the wreckage at this first crash site, and, apparently, at other places nearby where the main part of the UFO/flying saucer had impacted ....... and also at another place where escape "pods" containing 3 dead (and possibly one live) alien were discovered.

However, at this time, the situation changed into one that was much more ominous and secretive, as the Air Force then announced it has all been a big mistake and that it was simply a crashed weather balloon that everyone had seen. Mr. Brazell was taken into custody by military police and made to change his story as to what he had seen. Brazell had apparently also seen the alien bodies, because as he was later taken into the newspaper office to change his story, the newspaper reporter said, "Hey, Mac, this isn't the story about the little green men you told me yesterday !"

Mac Brazel paused for a moment as he walked out the door with the military police at his side. He turned to the reporter and said simply, "They weren't green". Then he walked away and refused to ever again speak publicly about what he saw that July morning.

In the following days, it seems alien bodies were examined and autopsied at the air base before they, and other parts of their odd flying craft, were sent on to various top secret locations in the U.S. It also appears that another flying saucer/UFO may have crashed to earth at the same time a hundred miles west of the first crash. This new site was known as the Plains of San Agustin, and archeologists in the area, as well as a local man named Barney Barnett came across the crash before army soldiers found the crash. The soldiers threatened them and chased them out. Perhaps there was a collision between the two alien craft, involving interference with the saucers guidance and propulsion systems possibly caused the powerful thunderstorm/lightning that night, or maybe it was caused by very high-powered radar bases in the area which guarded secret American installations and atomic bomb testing sites.

Here, again, alien bodies were found (both dead and possibly alive) and a flying saucer that was damaged but in better shape than the first one was recovered in another secret operation. In all these cases, any civilian witnesses were confronted by very nasty men from the military, who threatened them with various punishments, including death.

There is far more to the Roswell UFO crash story, including some twists and turns that are perhaps just like an episode of the "Twilight Zone" ! But it seems that, rather than just a "weather balloon", things of a very alien nature came to planet earth near Roswell, New Mexico in July, 1947."

OK, so we've heard this story for some years but it's never really sourced very well.

While I firmly believe that our galaxy and millions of others are teeming with lifeforms of all sorts from the most primitive single cell creatures to lifeforms we cannot possibly imagine, I also firmly believe that none have ever been here or have any idea we're here.

Unless...

I have an otherwise rational acquaintance, who swears that the stealth technology used in radar evading aircraft like the F-117 fighter, was reverse engineered from the alien craft recovered at Roswell.

But then I also have a dear friend who dismisses the "ghosts" featured on TV reality shows out of hand. "They're not ghosts", she says with a straight face, "they're demons."

"Still, a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest."
