If a person wanted to get a Tweed Pedal what one would some of you recommend?

Lovepedal- Les Lius or Tweed Twin
Wampler- Tweed 57
Mad Professor- Big Tweedy Drive
Catalinbread- Formula 5, 5F6 or 55
Way Huge- Red Llama

I know some of these are no longer in production

I've had a Caitlinbread Formula5 for a few years, and recently put it back on my board, mainly for the Neil Young stuff we do.

It's pretty good, but if I remember, the reason I took it off my board originally is that it doesn't do clean *at all* even at zero drive. Although that's not what it's for. The Wampler and Les Luis are well reviewed too

Thanks guys,

All of these pedals have some uniqueness to them and all have some great overdrive sounds.

I've been able to get some nice edge of breakup tweed tones with my Fender Champion 600 and the clean boost side of my T-Rex Crunchy Frog.

There are so many different "Tweed" tones....
