More goofiness:

I've never heard a dial tone when the other party hangs up on me.

I've never flipped on the TV and instantly seen a news story that is relevant to what's going on in my life right now.

Guys who answer the phone with "Yeah"..

The horror Cannibal movies with people that just have to go and see the cannibals...

The guys who take 15 seconds of table crashing, window smashing, pulling down the curtains, and finally falling dead from getting shot.

Space shuttles that are able to avoid 12 million pieces of a comet..

I've never watched "The Quick and the Dead" but saw the last few minutes the other day. The shadow with the sun shining through the bullet hole, the Gene Hackman back flip when shot...lol.

"Drinking coffee out of empty cups.. clumsy and obviously fake."

How about meeting someone at a diner, ordering a meal, conducting your business, paying the check, and walking out, all without ever having touched your food?

Getting 10 to 20 shots out of a .45 revolver. The never miss archers, self guided smart arrow heads?

The irritating formula: a romantic couple destined to be together forever, stupid misunderstanding, heart break, pain then the make up and everything in the world is right again. As the whole stinking plot.

A group of cowboys sitting around a campfire eating beans and immediately launching into hysterical farting fits. (Everyone know the gas come AFTER dinner! ;o)

Still hilarious though!

I know people who own horses. I constantly hear about how fragile they are, requiring visits by vets, farriers and the like.

But in the westerns, horses are seemingly like Jeeps. Extremely low maintenance, requiring an occasional clump of grass to eat, crossing deserts without a sip of water, spending nights in driving rain with no ill effects.

And with all those horses in the towns, you'd think that heroes and villains alike would be squishing their way through droppings and puddles in the street. Yet movie horses are remarkable in their ability to "hold it" for like .... forever.

I remember seeing a British movie where the action took place in horse-drawn London, and there were boys on each side of the street, whose job it was to rush out with their brooms and push the droppings to the side of the road within seconds in order to earn a penny or two.
