I have tried to link a news source three times, and I’m not able to do it on my cell phone. If someone near a computer could please google the thread topic and post a link for me I would greatly appreciate it

I sure hope the situation isn't as bad as it sounds. I'm a big TP fan and hoping everything works out OK.

The last thing I read was he was brain dead when he arrived at the hospital and they have removed life support. If true, it's over.

On a google search, there are twitter reports that he died. I saw him once in concert. I hadn't been a fan but I remember it was a great concert.

"Don't do me like that!"

"The waiting is the hardest part!"

But seriously just read that he is gone.

There's a documentary about George Harrison on Netflix currently and there's a scene with Tom Petty telling how he learned about Roy Orbison passing away and Harrison saying something along the lines of, "Yeah, but aren't you glad it wasn't you?"

I was never a fan. Like Chris I did go to one concert, great show. He and the band really brought it.

This is terrible news. I'm a big fan, saw TP 3 times over the decades. He and the Heartbreakers always brought it. My daughter is a big fan too. She just saw them in Boston last month on their 40th anniversary tour and said they were fantastic.
