One more reason I can't stand the guy. Just another grossly overpaid prima donna.
As a very famous announcer former race car driver "hero" said when someone suggested that they could not do without Hamilton and he could not be replaced...
" There are plenty of drivers who are equally skilled without the attitude ready to take his place" .

If he was just a poor street kid.. no one would look at , or listen to him..
and consider his BFF JB ..

And this quote.. what a moron:

“It’s not my national anthem, but the issue that is in the States – well, it’s not just in the States, it is a global thing. It’s more focused and probably at its worse perhaps in America.

“I think we all do need to stand together.”

Wasn't he talking about kneeling, not "standing" ?

Drive the car and shut the duck upp.

None of his Business..

Meanwhile, I hear Vettel is planning to don a fat suit and a ginger wig.

This has no place in F1 just as it has no place in the NFL. I no longer have any respect for Hamilton.

I was thinking "overpaid?? He's only on the $10 bill!!!" but then I read further.

The entire concept, in my opinion, is flawed. And a lot of it comes from the thought that Colin Kaepernick "deserves" a job in the NFL. Last I checked, nobody deserves it, they earn it. Believe you me, if it was Aaron Rogers or Tom Brady who did what Kaepernick did, they'd still have a job in the NFL. I'm not a huge football fan, but my understanding is Kaepernick had already fallen out of favor based on his play before he started his "protest".

In any event, whether CK has a job, whether people are still racist in 2017, protesting the National Anthem does exactly nothing, and its gotten to the point where now its just trendy to do it, which in my opinion makes it lose whatever effect it may have had, which admittedly wasn't much.

How many multi champions in F1 are not self centred?

Strikes me as a pre requisite for the job.

1. Lewis Hamilton is British, not American, so I have no idea why he feels qualified to comment on this non-issue.

2. As of yet, no one has been able to specifically state what these protests are about or how exactly they desire change other than supporting the idea of violent criminals being able to take property by force and endanger the lives of law-abiding citizens with impunity.
