I own more than strats. But each time I pull one down that is not,I play it a while, ogle it for a while in it's stand, play it some more and get an itch..I need a strat, either of mine will do, but it just calls me everytime.

I guess that's my real guitar fix. I'll be pulling down the white one tonight to replace my Projet in the stand...

I'm pretty much the same. The only other electric I own is an Epi LP Standard Elite, just in case I absolutely need that sound. I've been through a bunch of Tele's, a couple of 335's and Casinos, and always come back to my #1 Strat.

I have a bunch of other electric guitars, but for playing a gig or recording in the studio, an American Deluxe HSS Strat is my first choice.

Unless the song calls for a Les Paul, then I'll use my Gibson LP Trad Pro II or my PRS McCarty, but still I prefer Strats . . .

I have a relatively recent love affair with Ibanez S Series guitars which are up there with Strats. Strats are still my No. 1 though, 15 vs 2 S Series.

Count me in too. I have a
07 AVRI 59 thinskin
15 Fender CS journeyman relic daphne blue made for the NAMM show
12 AVRI Surf Green 57 Strat
and a 12 Gibson ES335

I have to sell one later this year to help finance some work on my classic car. My head says I should sell the AVRI 57 (the 59 thin skin was a gift from my wife) , but I just cant bring myself to part with it and may end up selling the 335 instead.

Thanks Viera.

Thanks for pointing out the number of strats I own.

I hadn't taken notice to that, so I guess I'll have to pick up another one soon. LOL!!!

I have 3 Strats (builds), more than any other style guitar. If I were to grab one during a fire, it'd probably be a Strat. But I have an equal yet different passion for Teles, too.

Glad I don't have to decide.

Cool collection, BF66Prince

I always wanted '79 Antigua, but the stars never aligned.

I was at Ishibashi in Tokyo over the summer and almost pulled the trigger on a '79 Anniversary, which I've wanted forever too, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I have 11 Strats, I really don't need another one.

Thanks Blacksunshine.

I really don't need anymore strats myself, but I guess I at least need on more so I won't be stuck with owning 13.

I actually put myself in this position because I religiously stop by pawnshops 5 days a week during my sales routes.

I can't pass up a killer deal on a guitar when I run into it.

It just so happens that Strats are the main guitars I find killer deals on.

Loving this thread... precisely because I was in my local guitar shop a couple of days ago and the conversation centred on how strats left us cold. Great guitars, to be sure, but the three of us hanging around that day just didn't connect with them. (!!!!!) Glad to know to you strat fans are out there... I don't think the rest of us would have our teles and jaguars without you guys. :)
