Got my notice today to renew my Concealed Firearms License (for Florida).

Current card expires on Feb 12, 2018 ... I have some time to decide if I want to renew.

Last I checked my Nevada and Utah permits cover just about everything.

Florida might add something like one State.

Historically the Nevada permit gave us nothing beyond Nevada.

For years Nevada honored no other State's permit and as a result virtually no other State honored the Nevada permit. Fortunately that has changed a lot over the past several years.

According to *USA Carry* I would gain New Mexico with the Florida permit.

I'm good all the way to my kinfolk in Michigan and Texas. My bro in Washington state is getting close to moving to New Mexico.

I've let my Idaho and Utah permit expire. I can legally carry most places in Idaho without one and I'm not traveling much outside Idaho these days. I may take the enhanced permit class sometime which gives me even more states than the regular Idaho and Utah permits did.

Yea, I let my NH and Idaho ones expire.

No need any more, and I was happy to be the token cripple guilt-tripping legislators on the issue. :)

Technically, my HR218 (Retired LEO) permit allows me to carry in all 50 states.

But would I carry in MA, NY, IL, or CA? No, I would not, it would not be wise.

Don't need no stinking permit in Kansas either for the last couple years. No uptick in crime involving firearms either. Go figure!

Rag, why wouldn't you carry in those states? I used to carry in CA (I was able to get a permit).
