My home team is (was) the Packers.

Tonight I thought I'd watch the pre game and see what if anything happened during the anthem.

I did see all members of each team standing and a majority holding their hand over their hearts.

I thought OK I'll give it a chance. Switched off at the end of the first quarter. No interest.

Normally I'd be a happy camper due to the Pack killing the Bears.

I do believe the kneeling has been the last straw for me.

Sad I love the game of football. I was a die hard Packer fan, no more.

My fist recollection of pro football was the first sudden death or overtime game ever. 1958. Lifelong fan. Sick of the overpriced prima Donna spoiled rotten HS. Done. Adios. I'll obviously see results in local papers but whatever. I don't think I'm the only one.

I cancelled NFL Sunday Ticket yesterday. I've had this package practically since it's been available.

Adios NFL

I don't care about uniforms or what happens before the game. I'll watch or listen to my NFL team and some of the playoff games.

The NFL had/has grown too large and needs/needed to come back down a little.

The NFL and the advertisers are not targeting the existing older (my) generation. We're dying off and don't buy much.

Enjoy whatever you're doing, time is running out.

Best of luck! YMMV!

This is true not only with respect to the NFL, but many areas of our lives.

Their analysts, lawyers, and business people have been telling them that they are putting out too much product.

Monday, Thursday, sometimes Saturday, all day Sunday into the evening. It is like anything else, too much and people lose interest. Add in the recent controversies, it's too much. I think that beside the protests and resultant backlash, there is just too much NFL on TV.

I don't think it is an overdose issue. They have cut the balls off the game, too many commercials, show each play at least twice, too many penalties, too much announcer babbling and now disrespecting our Flag and Country.

I probably left out a few things.

The way the Spanos family and the NFL treated San Diego for me is unforgivable. I just don't care anymore.

Stopped watching the NFL last year after/ during the first knee. Better things to do. Want to embrace a lie? Stupid games result in stupid prizes. Don't miss the thugs, hood rats, idiots, etc.

Eh.. I'll continue to watch here and there because I've always loved the game since I was a Pop Warner player that stopped growing and every one else left me behind.

That said, I am not an automaton that will sit all day hour after hour glued to the tv. I check scores, Cowboys in particular, and move about my day.

These protests will end when the checks begin to stop coming and the kneeler has to explain his lofty position to Wife, baby mama, and big mama...then reality will actually strike them as to how fortunate they really are.
