My fiancé got us tickets for Stevie Nicks at Ravinia - today's my 55th, and the weather here is autumn perfect. Yay!

I've called her that for a loooong time. She has that voice I can't listen to.

I liked her back in the day...before she opened her mouth! ;o)

I actually just about ran into her in 1977-78 as she was coming out of an elevator at a hotel all barefoot & lacy. Didn't really know who she was at the time.

Happy belated birthday! Were you on the lawn or did you have seats at Ravinia? On a somewhat connected note, I saw Don Henley play there. PITA to drive to that venue and I"m glad we didn't sit on the lawn. Oops, just noticed you said you had lawn seats.

Handicap parking is right by the main gate, so that part wasn't too bad. The traffic jam leaving was monumental, though.

"I knew who you were talking about before I clicked through."

I did not and I was severely disappointed.

Goat is a meal for special occasions in Jamaica, according to a keyboard player I was in a band with. I tried it from a Jamaican restaurant, it was like beef stew but more tender. Our keyboard player Sheila became known as "the Goat Woman" - lol

Nicks wears enough clothing for three people. Generally, if a woman wears lace it's because it's light and airy.

But twenty-seven layers of lace? Weighs more than a leather welder's jacket, I'll bet.

I wonder if she suffers from bad circulation or something. Same for Marty Stewart.

Weird.

"Goat is a meal for special occasions in Jamaica, according to a keyboard player I was in a band with. I tried it from a Jamaican restaurant, it was like beef stew but more tender. "

I used to work with a Trinidadian dude who told us he used to go to this place back home that was known for goat stew, and he found out later that the goat meat was actually stray dog meat.

He was grossed out by that. I was grossed out from the beginning when he said goat stew.

I don't think her singing is that b-a-a-a-a-d.
