Thanks!

I "think" this is the 1st Epiphone electric guitar that I've owned. I used to own an Epi acoustic. I've owned so many guitars over the years, I could be wrong about the electric . . . .

"I hear the 335 Pro's are much better quality and tone than the Dots."

I didn't like the PUs that came stock with my Dot so I swapped them. Quality is spot on. I set it up and it's been a good player ever since.

Did I mention the "E" fell off? I saved in a baggie that sits in a misc. musical parts drawer.

First one I ever bothered to own was a Casino, the newer Epis are *not* the driftwood of old.

My Epiphone Casino Elite is better in most ways to any Gibson I've ever owned. And I have a lot of Gibsons!

My regular run of the mill Casino is nicer than some Gibsons I've played.

Fit and finish wise, it's buried by my Gibby 339...but both play as well.

My LP High Performance makes the others sad, and they're not bad guitars.

Well yeah, you did. You cropped off the bottom of the pic. Gahhhhd!

;-)

I would've gone with that finish if it was available.

But red's ok

How do you like the neck profile 5Strats? I had a 335 Pro and only sold it because I couldn't bond with the D profile, but that's just me. There are a lot of folks around here that have no problems with the neck carve of the recent issue Epis.

Is that the Icetea Burst? At any rate, it is a sweet guitar!

Cal-Woody - Yes, that's the finish.

Note - The coil tap feature on the 335 Pro is a really nice feature.

New guitars, old amps. Perfect.

I see that the ES-335 Pro has the coil tap feature as well as block inlays on the neck compared to the Dot model. The Pro seems to get better comments but is actually a little less expensive than the Dot. Is the Pro a better option, and if so, why? They are a little hard to find up here.

By the way, I have an Epi ES-339 Pro and love it. The "E" also fell off right from the box!

I got my 335 Pro from Musician's Friend when it was on sale for $379. The natural or sunburst finishes were not on sale. The ice tea finish (my favorite) was not carried by anyone but (I think) zsounds.
