My 2016 did.

The 2014 339 didn't.

My 2014 Les Paul Traditional also did not.

So there you have it. They started including pictures in 2015.

Ah, the card says "6/9/15" so I guess so! The tuner battery did hold its charge since then.

Also had the newborn picture...*sniff* they grow up so fast..

The battery will hold charge for quite a long time, it's a modern battery (ala cell phone) versus the old ni-cads that drain if you look at them funny.

Received a note back from Gibson that they're sending the replacement titanium nut as covered by the warranty. Just fill out the form under tech support including the serial number and you're good.

Putting on fresh strings has made a big difference. The two year old ones looked new, of course, but were still dead.

I will be swapping out the G-Force for conventional tuners. As I noted before, it is a solution in search of a problem. As littleuch said, it is contrary to the basic concept of a Junior. I found restringing to be unnecessarily clumsy- and I have Bigsbys on other guitars. The screw tops invariably would drop when removing or rethreading. God forbid one gets lost, because then you're stuck, though I guess a conventional wrap might do in a pinch. As a consequence a certain data goon may be getting a late/early birthday / Xmas present in the next few weeks.

That's the OG tuners.

The ones I have ditch the screws, it's standard vintage-style post ditch/hole, with an additional thread on the exterior.

No additional stuff to take on or off.

I've continued to make some slight "refinements" to my 2015. It already had Grover tuners installed when I bought it used, and it had some funky smaller strap buttons...but was otherwise stock.

I have since had a bone nut installed, replaced the stock black knobs with gold Gibson top hats, and just had a TonePros bridge installed to replace the stock one...that we just couldn't get to intonate correctly. Man what a difference.

Now, it's a beast! Very happy with it.

I got to play my Jr for a little while this afternoon with some volume. The P-90 in the 2015 is definitely brighter than the older Jr's I have owned. Brighter than my SG Classic, Les Paul Jr Special, or any of the rest of my P-90 equipped guitars. Running the tone knob at about 7-8 takes some bite off but it still has plenty of kick. I played it through my Bassbreaker 15 which is very, very Marshally. More so than my Marshall Haze 15. Playing with a little reverb and a touch of analog delay with gain just starting to get grainy, I was able to do a convincing John guitar part for "Yer Blues". Adding some boost from my Klon KTR I got easily into Leslie West territory. I think the P-90 was a special wind with Alnico slugs and the brightness was intentional. I think the brass nut/zero fret adds to that. It can almost get in your face like a Tele. The .100" wider neck does trip me up a little but I think the raw tone I'm getting will make adjusting to it worthwhile. I'm not certain I'd be quite as pleased had I paid $899 for it but @ $479 it was an absolute bargain. I'm liking the tuners but we'll see how that holds up when I change strings. I'll get a titanium replacement nut ordered but I will hold off replacing the brass right now. If I change tuners I will probably want to keep the brass for awhile.

I love the wider necks on the monsters, but I've always wanted them a bit wider than standard and Gibson delivered without asking.

I suppose that's what pissed off so many people (and why they wisely went with keeping it only on the HP guitars from '16 on) - if you want it, you want it, but there's no taking it away.

I have two bridge-only PU guitars as it is.

If it'd been a DC....I'd have pulled out the plastic...but...

I do not need another guitar. I'm having a hard time resisting that one.

^I'll get to it later today, along with installing strap buttons and Grover tuners.

BTW, apparently you need the set screws from the brass nut, as the titanium doesn't have them.
