Lou...Fender has so many "named" guitars and basses today, I don't know who Chris Aiken is without doing a Google.
Please Chris Aiken fans...don't come down on me too hard. There are gaps in my education.

Don't know who he is either, but it doesn't matter much. Those inlays look like an afterthought and also look horrible. White inlays on Maple? It just tain't right I tell ya.
Oh, and...no tone control? C'mon! Enough already.

No Tone control on a P bass?
Why not live on the edge and get rid of the Volume control too?

rwb that is truly the sound of sick. But like George said don't hit me. Speaking for myself, I haven't a clue who Chris Aiken is and I am "OLD" ta boot :)

Umm...it's a five year old out of production signature somebody's cashing in on.
It was $275-299 new when it was released.

In my book, anyone who does not have his own Wikipedia page should not have his own "signature" bass.
That aside, aesthetically this is truly a horror: white inlays on maple on a white bass looks like what the good witch in The Wizard of Oz might play.
Are we sure that's a master volume? Maybe it's an on-off switch. :)

Bubbalou, I had to Google to find out who he is too.... reverendrob solved the mystery of the bass, and, for the record, no adult diapers were harmed or even used in this fascinating discussion!

Squier's signature instruments are aimed at a MUCH MUCH MUCH younger demographic.
And they don't stick around long (and a lot are Euro-specific!)
