When I saw Tony Bennett back...probably in the 90's, his guitar player was using a 4x10 Classic 50

Nice amp.
Absolute steal - even if the reverb never works!

And, yeah, get a hand truck for it and you still haven't broken $100. Still under $200 if you spring for a really good hand truck.

One of my good friends has used a Peavey Classic 30 for years and just recently bought a new Classic 20 head. Every Peavey amp I have ever owned has been reliable and sounded great.

Well, I sold the Classic 50 this afternoon. A guy came over to look at the Crate Vintage Club 50 I had on CL. He liked it. I thought I had the Peavey covered so no one could see it but he spotted the tweed. He was a great guitar player. He played through the Peavey and made me a good offer I would have been a fool to refuse. Now I will not have to worry about lugging around a heavy Peavey tube amp.

Right now that other dude is on some other guitar forum telling a story about how he went to see some guy selling a Crate Club 50, and instead talked the seller out of his "beloved Peavey Classic 50 that he babied for many many years."

hee hee

I guess I should consider myself fortunate to have a bunch of Fender amps hidden even better than the Peavey.

I need to come back around. I live less than a mile from you these days.
