FDP Forum / Fender Guitars: Stratocasters / 70's Fender bridge saddles

Jun 4th, 2017 12:12 PM   Edit   Profile

Hi I wonder if anybody can help. I gave two 70's Fender Strats. Both around 73/74. One has bridge saddles with 027037 stamped on the bottom and the other has exactly the same bridge saddles but without the number stamp. Both have tremolo bridge blocks stamped 010347.

The Strat with the non stamped saddles is in very good condition and looks to be 100% original so it seems unlikely the saddles would have been changed so I was wondering if anybody else has seen 70's Fender bridge saddles without the 027037 stamp?

Thanks very much, Graham.
