You can listen to my band's new album "Gospelbilly" via the link provided.

The musical influences are pretty obvious, but I've combined it with lyrics with an old time religion vibe.

I just released this album recently and I'm working on getting "something, anything" going as far as radio airplay, reviews, etc.

You can also stream this album on Apple Music and Spotify, etc. Just type in "Gospelbilly" in the search engine.

I like it-- enough to get a personal copy of it-- and I don't buy much music anymore.

It looks like your retirement has some side benefits of more music. Way to go.

Thanks. I'm surprised how time consuming sending out submissions to radio stations and other media is.

GREAT work, brother. You're a riff machine. I detect a huge Rolling Stones vibe throughout.

I'm diggin' your git-tar tone in Have Mercy. This tune has been covered by several groups and your version ROCKS.

Peegoo - I really appreciate the good review, thanks for listening.

Actually, Have Mercy is an original. Who did the song you're referring to?

I remember seeing some vids (posted here) over the last year or so...by who I thought were different bands. I recall hearing a few different versions.

That was you guys?

Right, that was THE 3. There's a page on our website with our YouTube videos, including the one you're referring to.

The original video posted on YouTube of Have Mercy used a low fi recording done at practice, the new version uses the studio recording of the song. So there were two versions.

That rocks!

Right out of the Keef school of rhythm gee-tar.

What was your setup for the slide parts? You had nice thick tone on that.

It's in open E tuning using the primary chord voicing that Keef uses for open G. I didn't know this worked, until I wrote this song.

The action is set up pretty high, but you can still play chords comfortably.

Check your email, Mr. Strats.

I have potentially mission-critical something you've overlooked.

Rob - I did not receive an email, but I really want to know of the "mission-critical something" is. Help!

Sent it to the email you've got on the FDP. If I should use another...I don't know.

I don't want to post it publicly, and you'll understand why.

You *Could* email me so I don't have to guess!
