as he test drives a few Teles and renders his opinions on what he likes about 'em.

You can't feel the differences, but you can sure hear 'em.

I always find his videos entertaining, however, when I watch them I'm reminded just how mediocre my playing is 8^(

Funny, I chose the same one he did (62 RW) with the 51 Nocaster a close 2nd. The 55 sounded nice but was too stratty at times IMO.

Love Greg's vids. So entertaining yet demoralizing at the same time! Thanks for posting.

Yup. I think the 62 sounds the best. But it doesn't matter what guitar Greg plays. He's also the BEST. The guy is phenomenal. And fun, too.

Part of what amazes me about Greg...he never runs out of ideas while he's playing. And he always has this incredible youthful sense of fun around playing guitar. He IS a giant in so many ways.

They all sound special in his mitts, but I think I favor the 55 relic.

Man, it was close, but I yearn for the Nocaster the most. One thing I'm reminded of seeing this: there's not a more awesome guitar sound than a Telecaster on the bridge pickup....and the treble blasting.

Yep. It cuts through a band sound like a... a Telecaster!
