Nice looking 335. Under 8 lbs is a bonus. 335s can be quite heavy.

Such a beauty! Enjoy it! BTW, who is 'Ford' on the caption below the photo? Robben is it?

Yes Deep, that would be Robben Ford - even though he normally plays a tele, custom Fender, or Epiphone Riviera.

But speaking of Robben Ford, I recorded a quick, rough recording of Talk to Your Daughter using a backing track I found online.

Thanks folks. Back at work now this week but I'm trying to get in at least a few minutes with the 335 every night. Been playing along with a lot of jazz backing tracks.

That is a gorgeous 335. Best looking I have seen. Btw: did t think I would but I actually like the Burst Bucker over the 57's

Never thought to weigh my ES-335...but seeing this post, my '74 ES-335 with a bigsby weighs in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

^ Not bad at all with a bigsby. I had an Epi Elitist Dot 335 that was close to 10 pounds with no bigsby. It sure had a great neck and fretboard, just too much of a boat anchor for little me.

If you think an Epi Elitist Dot 335 is a boat anchor.....try doing 3 sets with a Gibson B.B. King Lucille.

You also can't play the Lucille in anything less than a suit or tuxedo..........nix on the dress pants/shirt thing or Blue Jeans!

That Lucille is a HEAVY sucker!

Great looking and sounding 335...I've been fixated on that model lately, though till I get rich I'll have to be satisfied with an ES-137 classic with 57 pickups.
