Anyone who has been to a Clamfest in NJ over the last 12 years has met Puddles the jam dog.

A very friendly yellow lab who had passive begging down to a science. Loved to play with the kids but most of all loved to be on or around the stage when the music was loud and proud. She sang along with the horns or harmonicas and plopped down in front of the monitors just to be with us clammers

With Clamfest coming up in a month I wanted to let those coming know that she has passed just before her 12th birthday. it was quick and for the most part painless. My wife has been taking it very hard and I hope to answer any questions and let everyone here know before we show up without her and upset Sonya with a lot of Puddles questions

She has appeared in this forum many times and has many FDP friends-she will be missed

RIP Puddles- she was one of the best

You know she was a musician in the former life. Looks like a sweet dog, get ready for tears as others come to find out she crossed over.

She did love music
all I had to do was grab a guitar, harmonica or sit at the keys and where ever she was in the house she ran to the music

she would sing along to my sax or harmonica. I think it was the resonant frequency that bought out the group howl instinct.

Sweet looking dog. My Lab Doogie passed on a day when my friend came over and we jammed all day. She loved laying right by the amps. Something special about Labs and music.

Goodbye Puddles. Ask for Doogie and Rainbow Bridge, she'll show you around.

The Jams were extra special with Puddles walking around the stage and pavilions. I slipped her a piece or two of bacon.

Sorry about your pooch Gman -- she looks like a beauty.

My Golden doesn't care for music -- I assume it's because I'm delivering it.

Puddles will meet Dewey Dell and forever now they will get muddy together and find food that's been dropped underneath tables.
