Can't answer the questions about the screws.

Think I'm going start giving my Oly White a sun tan and see how much I can get it to turn. Not sure if Oly goes brown or yellow but I'm going to find out.

These basses are shot with lacquer and from the look of things, the lacquer coat is very thin. Perfect.
