So say you want to shred this unison with the horn player. I've found probably 6 different ways(in the last however many minutes since I first looked at this tune) just to do measures 9-10 in positions II, III and V on the neck.

I'd play it with my index at the 7th fret, and just stretch to the 6th for the Db, low Eb, and G# notes. Otherwise, you'd never have to move your hand from that position.
