Charts received!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the overall chart collection exercise! Special thanks to Peegoo for the massive effort and email mail bomb of many many missing charts.

we are set chart wise. Check to make sure this is how you want to play them We have a couple requests for key changes etc. So if in doubt contact your fellow clammers to decide. If you dont have their addy- email me and I will connect to all on the song.

see ya all next Saturday!

Special Request #17

Drummers--if you'll be wearing a kilt, please wear skivvies, especially if you'll be kicking a see-through bass drum.

Thank you!

Response to Special Request #17;

Yes Peegoo; that is one of the more serious problems caused by the wearing of "Kilts"; Air flow in another one. In some rare cases, playing (regimental) interferes with the operation of the bass pedal and the hi-hat and causes timing issues. (You can use your imagination on that one) But you don't have to worry, with the exception of certain members (Steve Carlo), that problem will not arise.

OK Back to the Griz-cave I go to Wood-Shed

You are safe, gentlemen. The only drum I play is a bodhrรกn. No movement of the legs required. No airing of .... umm..... grievances ...is involved

we have the side plastic curtains in the main pavilion in case. As long as load in and load out are clear we will be fine

but prepare for some wetness- bring a change of clothes but unlike littlehand you dont need 6 shirts. And maybe some rain gear ;)

once more unto the breach dear friends!
this is not our first rodeo....

See, you learn something new everyday;

I always thought Littlehand numbered his shirts to remind him what songs he was playing on.(Not that it ever actually worked.) The weather/wetness never crossed my mind.

Regardless; if we, the Multitude of Musical Minions, must walk thru water for Clamfest. SO BE IT !!!

The Cave is calling - got to go!!

I remember a clamfest years ago when the wind and rain was so bad we had to lash Peegoo to the stage to keep him and his cape from blowing away. Don't worry boys ...THE SHOW MUST GO ON ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿค˜

If I wore rain gear, I'd drown in my own sweat!

Hey, fellow Clammers! As I can recall GMan, most of you have thanked me for changing shirts. ;^J

I hope all are getting psyched up for the jam. Might be a bit "Moist in the morning", but historically, we've never had to handout life jackets.

GMan, I'm sure those slots will be taken by Jam-time.

Cya ya real soon!

Not to be a downer here, but they are talking up to 2" of rain for the Oak Tree Lodge area. Is the plan to forge ahead anyway? Or is there a possibility of a postponement looming? Just want to get an idea before I get some help loading that 165lb Leslie into the truck.

NOAA says up to 1 inch COP 90%
I think that is within manly operating parameters
(but it will be chilly so pack your old man rocker cardigan)

2 or more inches may make us stop and think.

I'd like to go on record: it wasn't ME who suggested the Epic Crapton tune Let It Rain.
