I posted this in the Lefty Forum last night.
Stopped in Guitar Center today with the intention of getting some accessories (guitar cord, string cleaner, maybe a shirt or hat), and a butterscotch Squier Tele singled me out as soon as we walked in the door. It's used, and was priced to sell, so guess what? The problem is, I can't bring it home until April 18th, because any used gear at Guitar Center must be held for 30 days to ensure it is not stolen.

Congratulations. Good luck with just one Tele, they tend to reproduce. I have no idea how I ended up with 5, I'm sure I didn't buy that many.

"Good luck with just one Tele, they tend to reproduce."

Yes, congrats!
I currently have 2 but am considering a Tele build as my next project.

If your Squier is one the Classic Vibes, you can't go wrong.
I've had 2 CV Teles before and only sold them because I got good deals on them and had the opportunity to flip them (and buy 2 MIM Fender Teles!)

So, have fun!!! :^)

Telecaster... if you get it, there is no finer guitar, If you're a Tele man.. nothing else makes sense, the controls, the tones, the vibe.

Telecaster can sound like other guitars, but other guitars can't sound like a telecaster (it's the bridge/ashtray/ saddle setup)

While most get nutz over 59 Les Pauls... we Tele guys have two eras 51-59 (the black guard era) and the 60-64 (the white guard era)

The Tele man isn't into "bells and whistles. Like all Tele men I have a few.. My favorite is a mid 80's that has been Nashville'ed (strat pup in the middle) Love that guitar .. By Number #2 is fairly new to my stable a 2015 American Special .. stock pups & plays and sounds like great!

Welcome Fellow Tele man!
