That logo, especially on the Gibson-style stuff...just looks like dollar store material.

They're trying too hard to tell you it's "custom" when most of it screams "knockoff."

Not that I don't love a good knockoff. :)

Somehow, I feel my lifetime draining away watching a Scott Groves video.

Yea, I can't bring myself to watch something that should be 10% of the length.

^ ha ha yes! "GET TO THE POINT, SCOTT!!"

He's drinking coffee, going off on tangents, I'm surprised his mom doesn't yell down the basement stairs and tell him the meatloaf is ready- "Shutup Ma, I'm making a video!"

For anyone with enough stamina to watch Scott's video they would have been treated to some of his his awesome customising secrets.

Got a white nut but you want black? Just go all over it with a black sharpy.

Chrome too shiny? Go over it with a black sharpy for instant black nickel effect.

Want black binding on the headstock? Yes, you guessed it go over the edges with a black sharpy!

RevRob, Professor: If we ever meet up, I owe you a beverage of your choice.

Another WAY too long YT review/demo that I refuse to sit through.

Haha - that video, he doesn't even pick up an actual guitar until the 10 minute mark. Thankfully I didn't watch it, I just forwarded to see how long the yadda went before he picked one up.

A guitar company **selling** guitars is called
Thin The Heard Guitars?

Grove babbles ad nauseam, and uses way too many absolutes similar to,"Back in the '70s you'd see every country player, I mean all of them, playing Gretch guitars through Peavey amplifiers." Really? Every one? All of them?

Didn't he get all butt hurt over a fight regarding guitar body tonewood?

I watched it as much as I could. One thing I drew from it is that each guitar played at the volume of the kitchen, sounded exactly the same to me, no difference at all so I guess it's his choice of pickups.

The age old question still begs, why bother to buy one of these only to have to do multiple things to it to make it playable, when readily available guitars might cost more, but work out of the box?

Tony, he has hours worth of dialog on the tonewood argument, however, I have spent my fair share of time watching his videos. You either love him or hate him. He gives allot of time to help people play guitar and he can play.

Anyway, those TTH guitars are junk.

Whenever a company uses language to sell their guitars that one would use in the $3k-$5k price range and they are clearly not up to that, I die a little inside. It makes me think of guitars like Estebans and so forth.

They might be okay for the money, but the lack of honesty makes me nervous. It is clear that they are just importing stuff from overseas (instruments take over a year to "come in"), but they talk as though they are a custom shop.

I'll pass.
