Had my Junior since 2009 from play around 10-12 gigs yearly plus practice a few hours a week at home.

Should I be looking to change the tubes ? It sounds ok to me at the moment but I Imagine these things have a lifespan ?

Thanks !

that's a good ploy.. I thought of ordering some just in case...

If I get the same ones its just a straight swap right ?

Yes. Also, I'd replace them, and A/B the two sets. You would be surprised how much better fresh tubes can sound over older, "tired" tubes. The sound quality slowly deteriorate long before a tube fails. Good luck!

The kit on that linked web page would give you the full replacement set of 3 pre-amp tubes and a matched pair of power tubes.
