Hey guys, I'm trying to sell my 2005 Fender Stratocaster so I can buy a vintage Gibson ES-175 (i'm mostly a jazz player for the past 10 years or so). Its a custom shop 1956 closet classic in the "mary kay" finish. Alpine white with gold hardware, ash body. Mint condition other than the custom shop ageing. Serial number is R20318.

Thing is, I have NO idea how much this guitar is worth. I know regular closet classic's go for around anywhere between $2000-$3000, but I saw one with this finish sell on reverb.com similar to mine for over $4000 so I am really in the dark here. Any ideas?

See what they're going for on Fleabay and Reverb.

That's the going rate.
