It's a great-looking amp. Lacquered tweed just has a certain look about it that says "music." If we still used luggage that's made of wood and covered with tweed like it used to be, we might have a different opinion about that.

If you're into the Fender 6V6 thing and you like onboard reverb and tweed, this just might be the thing for you.

The vintage fanboiz will all be tripping over themselves to poo on this amp, but who cares? If you like it--it's the cat's meow.

I saw it the other day, it might be my next move up from the tweed blues jr i have now. Plan on keeping the BJ also. Will never need DRRI or Twin IMO.

Nice looking amp. Do yourself a favor call and see what they will do on price before you purchase.

I like the look/ idea of it.

I'm not in the market for a new amp, but if I was, I'd consider it.

I like that better than the standard tweed top-mounted controls by far!

I think I might buy that amps purely based upon looks alone.

After looking at that tweed I had to go outside and smoke a cigarette and collect myself.

I was imagining putting my Celestion Blue Alnico in that amp. I haven't smoked in about 10 weeks now, but nearly broke down.

Looks nice, and the 12" into 15 watts of Princeton cleans sounds appealing. Fender has offered a few others with this speaker set-up (various 12"-ers, anyway), but some of them are a couple hundred more than this one!

I asked Sweetwater to contact me when they come in... I'm gambling they won't all sell out if I don't pre-order. Gives me some time to sell something.

It's not just good..

...it's good enough.

If I was in the market for a new amp, that would REALLY tempting.

Years back, I had a BF Princeton Reverb that I loaded with an EV 12 - it sounded glorious.
Letting go of that amp was one of my major musical gear blunders. I'm still not sure why I ever got rid that one.

It needs a couple of lit cigarettes laid on the top for awhile to give it character!

Nice lookin', and a Princeton with the right 12 and a Sennheiser 609 might be all the amp you'd need. But if I'm spending $1000 for an amp I would want them to have enough pride in their workmanship to put the serial number sticker on straight.

Decided not to wait for this one - bought one of the returned ones at MF (through the link here!) for a couple bucks less than this one - same grill cloth, burgundy tolex, has the 12" Jensen speaker instead of the Cannibas Rex, but I can live with that (will probably be a pound or two lighter, too...).

Let you know when it arrives and gets run through its paces... probably this Sunday morning if it gets here by Friday.

I think they have at least one more at this price...

I have an opposite opinion of the tweed look on a front control panel Fender, Blah. It has to be a narrow, wide panel or TV front for me to like tweed. Just me I guess.

Now paint it black like guys did in the 60s to their 50s tweed amps!
