I know that technicians have figured out a way to add reverb to channel 1 on the VVB-RI with the pcb. I've done it to my DR-RI ....and it was simple...but I need someone who can tell me where to modify the pcb on a layout schematic... Or if there is a link to a mod such as this on the forum. Many thnks in advance .

Unsolder one leg of R35.
Add a link wire between the pin6 nodes of V1 and V2.
Sorry, no layouts look to be in the public domain.

Yup...see the R36 easy. Cannot locate the V1/V2 on the layout diagram I printed off the web. Could it have different letters ?

Are the V1 and V2 referring to the tubes ? Valves?
Can you clarify for me ?

Yes V1 and V2 are tubes. The two right most preamp tubes viewed from the rear of the amplifier.

Just getting this mod underway....clipping the R35 and wiring the V1 pin 6 to V2 pin 6. Is it also recommended to clip out R11 ???
Anyone else do this mod to add reverb to channel 1 on VV RI ??

I don't see any point / benefit in eliminating R11.

Just to expand, removing R11 will act to significantly change the operating point of the channels' 2nd stages and also increase the amp's gain after the volume control a few dB.
