FDP Forum / Fender Amps: 1985 - Current / Joe Bonamassa signature amp?

Dec 8th, 2016 06:33 AM   Edit   Profile

I've spotted a couple of posts on Twitter and Facebook (shame!) regarding a JB signature fender tweed twin for 2017.

A pic of custom celestions and another with "JB Proto-2" in permanent marker on the top.

Could be cool :)

Posted on a few other forums as well. Looks very cool and I have no doubt it will sound great. Unfortunately not all of us (if any) get to play at JB approved volumes with plexi shields in front.

Love to own one, just have no idea where or how I would ever play it to it's potential.

No kidding, I'm happy whenever I get to crank my tweed Deluxe. Ain't happenin' with a Twin. I only wish I played venues that big.

Right after buying a new amp yesterday Bonamassa came into the store. Probably not ten minutes after I left. He bought an old tweed Twin and an old Duo-Sonic. Glad I got my amp when I did because I 'know' he 'really' wanted it instead.

Interesting thread......

My question is: High-Powered or Low-Powered Tweed Twin to "do the job", yes?

For me, personally, as the link says.."This will 'do the job" for me.....
