Got a call from a guy whose Princeton Reverb I recapped.

He asked me if I fix vacuum cleaners.

I answered...."Is it a tube vacuum?"

Guess you had to be there....I thought it was funny...on his end, the light didn't go on until I said......"that's the punch line"

True story.

Well, amps *do* contain vacuum tubes.

If you were a Brit, he might have asked you if you could do a "valve" job on his car engine.
