Very sad reading about Bill Machrone passing away today. A truly great guy who helped me out many times with my Blues Junior. He will be missed greatly. RIP Bill.

RIP Bill. A very nice guy who fixed my BillM modded amp for free after I screwed it up by putting the tubes in wrong. He helped many of us chase the tone we were hearing in our head by modding the plentiful Blues Junior. Thanks for that, Bill!

I visited Bill several times at his home to work on my BJ and PRRI. He always made me feel welcome and was a wealth of knowledge. Most of all, he was a great guy who will be missed.
I am honored to have my BJ signed by Bill on the chassis and also carry one of his labels on the face plate. God Bless you and your family.
Rest In Peace Bill.

He and I exchanged emails on several occasions. He helped me adjust the bias on my SCXD and helped me with an issue on my Traynor. One of kindest and helpful men I've never met. RIP Bill

Sorry to hear that. It reminds me. Don't sweat small stuff. Play music.

So sad to hear this... First it was Larry Rodgers last week and now Bill M! Great loss to guitar amp builders.

Now I'll definitely not be able to ever sell my amp that he modded. He's no longer suffering. Thanks for everything you did!!

Knew him only from his awesome Web site and the esteem in which he was held here, but thanks Billm. RIP.
