Question is in the title.

I'd like to replace the body on my Jimmy Vaughan strat and I'm looking at a roadworn body. Does anyone know if this neck is a direct fit for this body?

Yes, the Fender Stratocaster neck pocket is a standard size. You may need to do some minor 'fitting' if it's too snug, but a little sandpaper is the most you should need to get the job done.

Thanks, that was my assumption.

I know the J Vaughan has the American vintage bridge...the road worn, I believe, has the import...do you know if they have the same mounting config or would I need the import bridge?

If the body is drilled for an import bridge, that's what you'll need. My project was a JV neck on to a hardtail (Tom Delonge) body - which had the original hardware on it.

No, I dropped an AmVin trem on my Road Worn 50s Strat no problem. Trem measurements are the same.
