Just curious what happenes in the preamp section regarding the valves when the fat switch is engaged.
I think on many two channel amps the lead channel brings in the v2 or v3 or both but curious how you add gain on a single channel blues junior.
thanks.

Thanks Modal,
I knew 12ax7's are two tubes in one glass and now I know it's v2 mp that steps up the gain similar to a two channel amp.

Now> One more question is v3 the phase inverter and reverb tube?

My understanding is the reverb tank is driven by solid state amplifiers. The Blues Junior doesn't have tube driven reverb.
