I was blessed with this guitar last evening and it's the very Tele I've admired for years. I know that it's not a usa but the fit and finish is excellent and it came with Lindy Fralin's and a good solid case. Gonna have to tweek it a bit but over all I'm very pleased.

Why do I keep fixing things that work?

That is really nice and double bound to boot!
Lindy Fralin pickups are a treat!
I've been looking at the offerings from M. Kelly and they have a very nice Tele from their Mod Series, that is ebony striped with Fralin's and at their price point, I think it is everything I would like in a Tele model.
With yours already modded, other than a different neck, that is the guitar I want.
Classy!!!! Enjoy!

Thanks Cal-
I'm going to tweak the neck today and hope that I won't have to dress the frets.
I like the neck shape and feel so I'll do what I can to keep it. I've got a 90s mim maple neck but I'm really partial to rosewood.
I also had a mop pickguard which I installed yesterday and all I can say is wow!
Ever since I saw Jerry Donahue with this guitar(his of course is a USA) I was hooked. My pickguard isn't black but The mop gives it a little more "bling".

I've worked on a few Classic Vibe Telecasters and they were all fine guitars. Sound and playability was right up there with the best MIM Teles I've handled.

Pay no attention to the decal on a guitar's headstock. If it plays and sounds great--that's all that matters.

Some weeks ago when I received this guitar it was a looker but the action was too high for these old hands so I began to make it playable for me. I first checked the straightness of the neck and found that the fretboard was not level(the truss rod isn't the best and would only allow it to be as level as I could get it). So I dressed the frets and the result was not good. I bought some taller fret-stock and pulled the original frets. Then I sanded the bare fretboard to level, used a 9.5 radius block for obvious reasons, re-fretted and came up with a very playable Tele. I haven't gigged with it yet but I'm looking forward to it.
On the whole though I recommend These guitars for quality and price.
The pups aren't stock but the Fralins that came with it are spectacular.

My new Squier is a 50s CV Strat in Sherwood green. I installed a different pick guard with VNs. The guitar plays and sounds great.
I also have a 60s CV Strat.
These are really nice guitars.
