Hello to all... I have a V M Jazzmaster. The tremolo arm is very loose and floppy. Is there a good way to tighten this? Thanks

I think that arm is threaded. I posted a similar subject today. I recently found out hat you can buy a spring and drop it in the arm hole. Once you start to compress that spring it will keep your trem arm any where you place it.
Problem is that the trem arm hole is drilled all the way through the block. I may have to find a set screw or something to close off the bottom.

The Squiers are not threaded, nor is the VI.

The only threaded stuff is some oddballs using the Classic Player trem.
