FDP Forum / Fender Amps: 1985 - Current / Bassbreaker 15 - XLR Recording

Sep 21st, 2016 11:07 AM   Edit   Profile

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been asked before but the search function isn't working.

I have a 15 combo and usually record with a Focusrite 2i4. Forgive the huge ignorance, but does it matter whether I get a female to male cable for the microphone input, or female to phono and use the guitar lead input?

Also, if I do this, will I be able to listen through headphones? There is no headphone jack which I'm used to for late night playing...

Thanks in advance.

Use the phone jack on your recording interface.

Use whichever input sounds best to your ears.
