I had a lot of good suggestions from a good number of people in a very short time. It was a great group effort!~

@G-Man:The list is fantastic!!

@Picnic: AMEN! to that my brother.

@ Steve Carlo: Banjo, Kilts, & Daisy Dukes. I think I'm starting to see a developing pattern here, my friend. When you hear the "voices" in your head, are they talking or singing? This info could determine if you need medication along with Therapy. I'm doing both, it is working out great for me!

Got to go. The music Gods are calling me!

We did that Crenshaw tune a few years ago-was a lot of fun

The list is done so its too late for any songs to add. We have compressed the normal 2-3 month process into 1 month. The only exception I can see is if Lynn, Kim or Shirlene can make it then we add songs for the female vocalists.

As it stands there are 2 songs that need female voices in the top 10. Kim says there is a good chance she can make it. Lynn has a gig and I dont know about Shirlene. If we get no female vocalists then we will have to decide if we drop Gimme Shelter and Runaway (or do the Del Shannon Version)

just a note about the most popular song in the List of Love so far: Joe Cocker- the Letter

This is a horn song and because of that we have to do it in the recorded key of Db or we have to transpose all the horn parts.

Also let see if we can get a good chorus of back ups so we can get take this song to 11

here are the guitar transcripts.
there will be an easier to read 1 sheeter in the jam book

G-Man; Good "tease" on "The Letter", you got me all wound up with wild expectations now. I am really "chomping" at the bit for the Fall Clamfest Jam.

If you come across the the drum/percussion score for this song, let me know; I would love to see it. I'll take the guitar score and translate it into a "Dick & Jane" level for Littlehand. If you have not heard from him yet, please let me know, I'll rattle his cage!

Geno, Littlehand & I will definitely miss your presence; where ever you are going to be, please be careful. I know you have to watch out for the spiders & scorpions; but watch out for the alligators too! The Music Gods willing, if all works out, we can catch up with you in DC. Stay safe my friend!

OK!: For the rest of my "Clamfest" brethren; if you haven't voted yet, "hop to it"; The G-Man is doing his usual great job, but your cooperation & support is vital.

Steve, I hear the voices calling me again, I have to get back to the wood shed!

Kim is confirmed for Clamfest. I will post some of the songs she wants to do and we can vote on them as too. One is RESPECT which we have done before and I think is a solid pick for us to do.

Will
We do this like the last one in the inter-webs

First you need to go to the list of love to Vote on songs. Once the list is done you will then pick slots

good to have another bass player in the mix!

List of Love for female songs*******

Since Kim is coming I asked for a list of songs she would like to do. We will NOT do all of these. This is a list to get a subset of songs to do. We have a couple on the current list for her and they are scoring well. This is to possibly add a couple more for her. They will be scored with the other List Of Love and only if they rank high enough we will play them. So like the other list pick songs you want to have at Clamfest Fall 2016

Welcome to the club LayingLow; It took me about three years to get into the swing and understand the FDP & the Clamfest system. (No joke, this is the best system I have ever seen.)
I still consider myself the new kid on the block, I'm still learning. My motto as a drummer,"Strong Back & Weak Mind"!! Also keep in mind that I had my brother Littlehand as a mentor & role model; so I had a major handicap to start with from the beginning. (Don't tell Littlehand)

Steve: my medication is really helping me; the voices are not as loud as they used to be, and they are singing in "Harmony", I just have to figure what language they are speaking!!

See you all soon! Back to the woodshed I go!
