Hello,
I appreciate any help to identify the year my amp was built. I tried to figure it out by the EIA606, and that means 1966? But from reading online, I thought the Fender JBL speakers came after 1970?

Thank you,
Dominic

Turn it down? It's barely on ten!

606 is the manufacturer identity code. The 802 code, as well as the Fender logo and master volume, would make it a 1978 most likely.

I also concur about 1978 even though I saw one transformer mfd. in 1977, I think.

Yep, an early 78' as it can't be older than its newest original part.

Ultra Linear Twin. 1978. Power tube balance pot and hum balance pot for pre-amp tubes. These amps sound great clean. I bet it's heavenly with those JBLs.

Got the same amp but I BELIEVE mine is a 79 and the jbls are E120's, not D's. Guess we know the cutoff date now! Mike.
