Would a 68 Twin Reverb or Super Reverb chassis be the same dimensions as a 68 Bandmaster Reverb? I'm trying to figure out if they would all fit the same size cab.

They won't, according to the Fender Amp Book.
Twin Rev - 26 3/8" wide
Bandmaster Rev. - 29 1/2" wide
Super Rev - 25 1/2" wide.
Now, this is just what the book says. Measuring an actual amp might be a little different.

To the best of my knowledge the Bandmaster Reverb and Super Reverb share the same chassis width. Many SRs have been built out of BMRs. The TR is a bit more narrow. The TR and the Dual Showman Reverb (head) share the same chassis, just a different badge actually.

I have to wonder about just how accurate those dimensions really are on the Ampwares site. It would seem from a production standpoint you would want to eliminate any waste, cut cost, standardize and simplify things as much as possible. Having so many different size chassis that are very close to the same dimensions seems ridiculous. Those measurements could be more of a ruff estament rather than the actual exact sizes.

The dimensions I posted are from the Fender Amp Book. Most have been accurate.

Hi!
What Hammond 101 said - the Bandmaster Reverb and Super-Reverb were the same with. But the Twin and Pro were wider.
Not 100% sure, but I think the Twin and Pro were the same width at some point in time, but not ALL the time...
And yes, many of the dimensions on the Amp field guide are merely educated guesses ;-)
Unfortunately, there are some wrong numbers in the Teagle/Sprung-book as well...
cheers - C.

I have a Bandmaster Reverb chassis in a Super Reverb cab, a perfect fit.
"Bandmaster Rev. - 29 1/2" wide" ... that's the speaker cab width.

I think some years were different.
I recall finding that many early Bandmasters used Dual Showman chassis, with cover plates to block off two of the output tube holes.

6G6, the Bandmaster and the Dual Showman/single Showmwn did share the same chassis. When the Bandmaster Reverb head was commissioned in '68 it shared a chassis with the Super Reverb. It's a question of reverb vs. non-reverb amps. Not really the OPs question.
Dual Showman Reverb amps where basically a Twin Reverb in a head cab so those two can share chassis/cabs along with the Pro Reverb.
