This thing sounds phenomenal to me. It's Jeff Steigers copy of his personal API console strip in a 500 series VPR compliant format.

I did this track with my sloppy playing for a test. No eq, no compression. Just panning and balancing.

I will need more 500 racks because I will be making plenty of these...

Sorry for the trumpet intonation. I don't really play .... hah.

Test Track.

Loose the trumpet...then rerecord the whole craperaoo with conviction.

It's just laying there...no commitment.

Don't get me wrong....I couldn't write a melody with a gun to my head.

That's the best this old horse can do with the health issues I have. Just playing with gear sounds here, not trying to write a hit.

Hi Achase4u

Please forgive my aggressive reply.
It was sincere but tactless.

I still feel that the trumpet is out of place.

thanks

Nothing to forgive! You are certainly welcome and encouraged to contribute to the conversation as I value your opinion. I just wanted to make more clear my intentions of why I posted the track - which was more of just messing around with sounds with gear. :-)

That darned trumpet IS out of place. As Mark Knopfler said - "They don't give a damn about any trumpet playing band
It ain't what they call rock and roll"

;-)
