I have a 4 track Tascam home studio
it requires metal audio cassette tapes


but it is the 21st century and some fool decided they weren't going to make those anymore

any one have a source?

Also, check whether you want Type II or Type IV.

Even my last cassette multitracker (488 8 track) only needed Type IIs, I always ran XL2-s Maxells.

However, I would just look for old Maxell stuff on ebay. Bricks of that stuff are cheap.

Ampex 456 on the other hand...
