Oh man, hadn't heard the news. Bill was an incredible guy and a friend to me as well. He made an impact on this world and will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Oh no !

That's the saddest news I've heard in a long time.

Hopefully he is at peace now and no longer in pain.

Bill was a wonder.

Devastating.

I hope the web site remains accessible. The volume of detailed Blues Junior information Bill assembled and provided is an extremely valuable resource for many of us.

RIP Bill. Deepest Condolences to your loved ones.

Bill was a generous man and a good friend. If more people were like Bill, this world would be a much happier place.

You will be missed, Bill.

This is some of the saddest news that I have heard here. Bill was one of my earliest FDP heroes, I never had a chance to meet him personally, but he was always generous in sharing tips and answering questions.

My deepest sympathy to Bill's family. A great man who will be missed.

It would be a fitting tribute to Bill's undying love for the Blues Junior if Fender would release a limited edition "Billm Blues Junior incorporating his major mods. Probably never happen, but still...

When I would visit Bill at his home to work on my BJ, we would share our common activity of playing our guitars at our respective churchs and the music we would play. When I play in Church this Sunday , I'll say a prayer for a great guy as well as his family. Rest In Peace Bill.

Amen to all the above. I have left a last message on Bill's Facebook account, wishing his family well and letting them know in what high regard Bill is held here.

Bill was a great guy with great ideas and an understanding of how things work second to none.

While my NOS tweed BJr has no Billm tone mods it does have a bias trim pot installed "his" way.

RIP Billm........

We should organize a memorial concert for Bill, we could do several regional shows around the country actually. The only guitar amps to be played on stage would of course be Blues Jrs.

(via Facebook message) His wife sends her regards to this forum, which she says Bill loved (along with, she says, the Lord, music, and electronics). Bill's death was peaceful and pain-free, it seems.

She also says the business will continue.
