As an old timer who spent a lifetime playing and selling Fender products I must say there is no better overall musical instrument amplifier company that's a close second when you consider the full range lineup. I have a 68 deluxe custom reissue amp and must say it's such a awesome tone machine and would put it up against the big $ boutique amps. That's coming from someone who owned a real BF deluxe BF bassman and BF Princeton with mods like 12 inch JBL and bigger power tubes.
But what put them over the top to me is my Fender Champion 20 I just picked up fro $89. it's crazy what you get for your $ I love this little cutie with all the featured voicing you can get a respectable clean tone as well..

Looks like a good little amp for around the house. Where did you get yours for $89?

I was smitten when I was trying out a Gretsch guitar, with a 68 Deluxe Custom Reissue. Could not believe what I was hearing. Had no idea that Fender had gone in that direction. Superb amp!

As an Old timer myself... I second this. I too have own and played actual vintage gear. (mainly Marshall and Fender) I still have a 72 Twin and I occasionally use my uncle's 68 Deluxe Reverb. Well.. My ML HRD sounds as good or better than those vintage amps. Which drove me to acquire a HRDx III. Although the ML HRDeville is a different amp (different tone stack design) I like also the HRDx (My self personally I use the HRD III as a beefed up Hot Rodded Tweed, as I think Fender intends this product to be used... Great for Country, Blues and Jazz. (which I play and gig) I also fell for a modded Blues JR pretty bad. (for small coffee house gigs)

Yea I would say pretty nice line up. I think their marketing is spot on. Instead of making amps to be used in specific genres of music, Fender make amps that you can use for multiple genres.. (They also make the controls simple and practical to use live. (another huge plus)
