I have white pickup covers and the tips, knobs and pickguard are parchment.

I have to admit those mint guards look nice. Just pops at you.

The body is a Roadhouse or Lonestar ( I forget which.) that has a rear compartment routed for a battery box. Neck is from a Classic Player '50s. I'm considering going with EMG pickups a la Knopfler only in black with a carbon fiber guard. Kind of a mashup of classic and modern style, but the jury is still out.

I also have several sets of fender single coils, Tex Specs, Fat 50s, Abby '69s and hot noiseless, that I might use. They all have aged white covers that would go well with mint.

Teemon, it's ESP. Apologies if it breaks the rules.

Gold anodized would be my vote for that color combination. With white or parchment pickup covers, knobs, and switch tip.

I'm sorry, but there's no color pickguard that could save a CAR Strat.

If you are going for period correct, white or parchment, with aged pu covers, tip, and knobs.

I think mint looks bizarre w/a maple fretboard, because that combo didn't exist, at least w/CAR.

MOTO, white, parchment all good. You could also do black guard with white bits for a cool look, although not my favorite of the bunch.

If the mint guard is /barely/ mint, it's not bad, but if it's too green, no thanks. Still prefer white, and variants.

I think the mint would look fine w/a rosewood board, but that's not what you have.
