Sweet, let us know how it goes. I'm hoping to get a classic player Strat for my next guitar also, my first was a classic player Baja Tele and i love it.

Haven't decided on the 50s or 60s yet.

Restock return also varies by retailer/seller.

You're in a realm of "ask questions with the people who can answer them, not us!"

Right rev. I am not very familiar with online gear ordering.

I did get the Strat locally from Total Entertainment in Daytona.

So far , I love it. I don't really have that much time on it though.

I also bought a Squier CV 60s tele, the one with all the binding. It has what I hope is a minor issue and easy fix. This distracted me from my beautiful new Strat.

Guess I will post about the Tele in the Squier section of the fdp.

Gonna spend some time with my Strat later today. I need sleep,,,

This guitar is amazing.

Came with 10s from the factory.
The bridge is set up floating and stays in tune very well. I was goung to set it flush but I think I will leave it alone at least for a while.

Intonation and action are excellent.

The fourth setting on the pick up selector is neck and bridge. Leaving that alone too for now.

I can not find a single thing I dislike so far.

Love the soft V neck.

Wow. That's a great review 69tele.

I cant find any anniversarry logo on my tweed case unless its on the handle. The handle on mine still has the padding from shipping on it.

Also mine has two storage compartments. One on both sides of the neck.

Also I think the fourth position on the switch is neck and bridge pickups on mine.

Also locking vintage style tuners.

Thanks glad you liked it, must be a different run then, mine has one compartment and has the logo on the inside of the case.

The tuners are vintage locking not too fond of those to be honest would have preferred std vintage ones.

Nice pic I wonder why the different case ?

I bought mine literally a week later after it was shown at Namm. It also brings a really nice book with the history of the strat.

There is others on the net with same case as mine. I have the book and all the other case candy still in there unopened bags. They gave me the original box it was shipped in too. The trem arm and tools and other things are still in sealed bag.

Its still set up with floating trem, it does not go out of tune. I use the trem seldomly with a really short DG trem arm. I do palm the bridge for trem quite often tho.

I was gonna get a new cp 50s until I found many more 60th anniversary models were still available brand new.

69 tele I would have done the same thing you did if I could have afforded it and new about it at the time.

The case does have a gold Fender logo on it on the exterior. I wonder if its just a run of the mill Fender tweed case. No anniversary logo anywhere on case.
