Did Fender make a 1966 2x12 Vibrolux Reverb and if so does that make the value more?

I never heard of or seen one if they did. I know a lot of old Fenders have been modded with different speaker configurations as well as circuit changes.

Thank-you. I am about to look at one for sale and was told that it had two 12's but he wasn't sure. he said that it is decent shape for as old as it is, but I suspect it is a bit beat up. I am trying to get as much info as I can before looking at it. Not sure what to offer. He said that it won't power up.

Maybe they are 10's and he's just mistaken about the size.

Hi!

Yes, like the other guys said - no 12´s in a Vibrolux.
The cabinet wouldn´t be wide enough for a pair of them.

These are very sought after amps if they´re in good shape and usually sell for around 2K (give or take)...

You might try to offer less and see how it goes ;-)

cheers - C.
