FDP Forum / Fender Guitars: Jaguars & Jazzmasters / 64 Fender Jazzmaster help

Hi folks, have recently come upon a 64 Jazzmaster that I have some questions about before buying. First off seller states that the fretboard has been altered as you can see in the photos. What's not original, the case, the knobs and one pot. The original bridge is available but he states that it has really rusty saddles. The neck is dated 4-4-64B. I noticed there is only one string tree even though it has a spaghetti logo and single line klusons. Is this normal? can you see any other things I missed out on? Would I expect this guitar to have black base or grey base pu's? what sort of market value would it have?

Get an outside appraiser/expert to look at this one.

Or any high-value vintage instrument you don't intimately know the market for.
