Thought I'd post this one here. Just having fun with my Dano 12-string and rippin' a little on the non-stop news munchers.

littleuch - Seriously fine songwriting, singing and playing! The dark wit of the lyrics are brilliant.

Where did you record this? It's very pro sounding.

Darn, now I need a Dano 12-string! (:oD

Thanks, 5! I did this at my home base 7x8 foot closet studio, with Pro Tools. Drums are EZDrummer.

Thanks again for listening and the kind words.

I'm very impressed with the sound and the mix.

Darn it, now I need a Pro Tools set-up at home! (:oD

Are you going to release this commercially? I sure hope so!

Thanks Sharkie! A fun little note; I wanted a little three note "ooh-wee-ooo" with a theramin sound @ 1:43 but couldn't nail what I heard in my head. So I downloaded a sample of a wolf howling, then auto tuned it.

5, yeah. It's released. :-p

If I start getting downloads, maybe I'll put up a price, haha.

No, I just have it on Bandcamp. I zero'd out the price so I assume it's free to download. I haven't ventured into i-Tunes yet.

I had my band's CD manufactured by Disc Makers, along with signing distribution and publishing deals provided by its affiliate CD Baby.

As part of the distribution deal I selected, the album is made available for purchase as a download on iTunes, Amazon Digital and other outlets. They also distribute to streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify, etc.

Another great one Larry. The mix is just right. Nice blend. Oh, and the Dano sounds wonderful. Gotta love an inexpensive guitar that sounds THAT good!

Thanks Ken! I had this one bugging to be finished for decades. The pentatonic riff I knew had to have a 12-string. The opening lyric was a place holder until I could come up with something a little less Who/Guess Who, but it wouldn't leave my head so I used it as a launching pad for the song idea.

I've recently forced resolution to a number of partly written songs that have been rolling around in the drawer for great spans of time. It's been liberating in a way.
