oooo. That looks really nice.

I've played a few, I've built a few, but I've never owned one. Why not? I don't know.

Nice, I've always wanted one as well. I wouldn't plat it often but just to "have".

It's really nice.

The Alder sounds much more like a Tele than my Ash one.

And the Texas Special in the middle is a bonus.

Plus, it was $50 more than my American Deluxe Strat, which while still an expensive guitar, it's a lot for the money.

They have finally changed it from poplar to alder.

Not knocking poplar wood but for the price of the B-bender tele they should offer alder or ash IMO.

I was going to get one for years. Still have to put it off though. I'm getting a special 50's era Strat built for me with all top grade parts...Callaham bridge, Sliders pups, lightly relic body, lightweight as body, etc.

I've had a B'bender for about 20 years. Mine is an early Parsons-White bender. I love it. I think mine was installed in a '68 or '69 Tele body. Very low B-bender serial no. I'll probably never sell mine.

Nice Straty tone at first. Cool beans, that'd be a fun addition.

You and Gristleman oughta do an extended video for this guitar :-p

Broke my first B string today.

No big deal, as I was going to put manly .10's on her anyway, but MAN, this is like threading a bobbin on a sewing machine.

I was also surprised to see the strings had no bullet ends.

Maybe I should buy new Fenders more often?

"...Broke my first B string today..."

You didn't say if your B-Bender Tele is new or used. One many of the early ones, the "pendulum" that pulls the B-string was machined incorrectly and put a hard kink in the string as it headed towards the bridge. This resulted in premature string breakage.

The solution is to file the groove in the pendulum so that it puts a gentle curve in the string rather than a sharp kink.

Fender had a paragraph about the issue in their...

I like that.
