I like them a lot...no threads, when tightening the clutch thingy, the clip stays put.

It's particularly useful when booming a mic over a podium when the only option is to boom it in from the left side.
With a standard clip...if the presenter changes the mic height when boomed in with a traditional clip from the left side...the mic can come loose and drop down.

Didn't realize that it would take so many words to describe a simple function.

The only mic stand movement a presenter should touch is a gooseneck.
